Aim and Scope

African Journal of Law, Bioethics and Contemporary Studies (AJLBCS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality scholarly research at the intersection of law, ethics, governance, and emerging societal issues. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for legal analysis, bioethical scholarship, and contemporary policy studies relevant to Africa and the global community.

AJLBCS welcomes original research articles, reviews, and policy discussions in areas such as constitutional and administrative law, health law and bioethics, human rights, governance and democracy, technology and digital regulation, environmental law, and development studies. The journal aims to promote rigorous academic inquiry, encourage African-led scholarship, and contribute to evidence-informed legal and policy reforms. The Journal is Published by SJC Publishers Company Limited.

The Journal was established on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
